That's Money, Honey.

-On January 24h, Gaga dedicated the day to donating to Haiti; all of her website merch profit and NYC Monster Ball ticket sales were to be provided to the country. An estimated $500,000 dollars were raised in just one day! Gaga made a fantastic speech at her show that night, and even dedicated a song to Haiti. Shop and dance, you little monsters!

-Gaga is said to open the American Music Awards, something I was not expecting but am pleasantly surprised by. I was definitely going to tune in to watch, but now I am grateful that I don't have to wait too long to see her perform! In addition, I hope she has more energy than she did on the Oprah Show performance. I hope you've recovered enough to wow us, Gagita!

-Lastly, one of my favorite songs from Gaga's new cd, The Fame Monster, Telephone, had it's creation day yesterday. Yes, it's finally happening. I've been dying to see this video since the album was first released, so you can only imagine how anxious I am now that the video has been recorded. According to Celebrity Mania:

"Lady Gaga could have Beyonce Knowles as her rescuer in the music video for her single “Telephone”. With the filming of the video being underway, words are circulating that the video is likely to include the dance electronica singer being put behind bars and the R ‘n’ B songstress coming to her rescue...

"GaGa’s “Telephone” music video allegedly is being filmed in a desert in Los Angeles. Words are, it will serve as a continuation of her “Paparazzi” music video. Director Jonas Akerlund, who served behind the lens for “Paparazzi”, will be helming this new video. Designers Franc Fernandez and Oscar Olima are said to create destroyed denim pieces for GaGa and Beyonce."

JPG, You Just Killed Me

This spring, roll around in Gaultier's tribal-floral-pirate garden.
The inspirations from nature (tropical foliage, gardens), bold ethnic wearving,
perfect lightweight draping and large pirate and circular hats
are sending me spinning right now.
Let's grab some leaves and throw em onto our head, Gaga style.
And, cut your long dresses into strips at the thigh. Helllo summer vacay!
Oh and the added body jewelry and shaped shoulders.
I'll take it all.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but,
And I hope metal body jewelry gets a little more mainstream
so I can buy some. Otherwise, I'm going to create
my own soon.

When in Tokyo's Narita, Stock Up.

When I was flying back from Thailand, I had a connecting flight in Tokyo's Narita airport. My plane landed, I went through security, then power walked past the chatchki cellphone charm stores to the amazing magazine/card/book store at the end of the International wing of Narita. One of the magazines I bought was Vogue Nippon, and this is my favorite photoshoot from the February 2010 issue.

Bambi

Many designers have posted filmed runway shows in lieu of traditional catwalk events, but Loeffler Randal is applying technology to their lookbook for spring. This video is a sort of trailer to the actual collection. It definitely creates excitement. You can see more movement and outfits on their website!

See the video here.
