Lorenz Baumer may have a history at Chanel, but his new jewelry design position at Louis Vuitton is giving the fashion haus a new edge.
His first collection for LV is based on his love of travel. I love the use of the classic LV symbols in a gaudy design. Circles keep the necklace harmonious and are repeated in multiple pieces from the collection. “In all the cultures, civilizations and trips that I’ve encountered, there are always circles, and they always symbolize perfection.” The necklace pictured above includes white and yellow gold, multicolored sapphires, mandarin garnets, and yellow diamonds.
But, you may have to open up an Am Ex black card account for these diamonds - the price range goes up to $2.5 million.
