Irving Penn, one of the most influential, talented fashion photographers in history passed on at age 92 today. He always held a special place in my heart because I created a Powerpoint presentation about his work in my freshman year of college. Although most people just know him for his work at Vogue (circa 1940s), I love his color, nude, tribal, and still life work as well.
